InSequent introduces redeemable/trackable Mobile Coupon Engine

Today we released V1.1 of our mobile platform for local business. The highlight of the release is our expanded mobile coupon engine. A consumer who texts one of our merchant's keywords (e.g. text CARNEROS to 55411) will receive an instant link to Carneros Bistro's mobile website. In addition to the other content found there, they can now also take advantage of mobile coupons which they can both share with their friends and of course redeem themselves. The merchant can track redemptions on the hosted dashboard. For direct sales, we charge the merchant either 10% of the retail value or $20/M impressions, their choice when they create the coupon. Our channel partners can set their own pricing plan.

Verve's mobile dashboard is in use at Hearst, McClatchy, Media General, Freedom, Cox, Belo, Examiner.com and over 4,500 local market media properties across the US. The InSequent platform will now be rolled out across the Verve network as part of that dashboard.

InSequent expands into South America

InSequent has today signed a partnership with Rio-based Quanta. The InSequent platform will be fully translated into Portuguese and localized for immediate launch. Quanta will be testing the service with approximately 20 small businesses before approaching large aggregator partners such as Claro, with whom they are affiliated. Brazil will be the beachhead for expansion of our footprint across Latin America.

Stephen Elkind is an accomplished CEO, entrepreneur and operations professional with 16+ years experience in comprehensive operations management, aggressive business development, and significant shareholder value initiatives. Stephen joined InSequent in May of 2010 as Vice President of Corporate Development and brings his M&A experience from Bear Stearns, where he successfully generated in excess of $500 million in value for clients including Alaris Medical, SonicWall, Medtronic and Midas Rex.
